Cordless microphones

Cordless microphones are often thought of as being less intrusive, and this is true for the most part. But there are sometimes problems that can present themselves to users of cordless microphones.

But if you do have a problem arise when using cordless microphones, you should consider the following:

• Check the transmitter and the receiver to ensure that they both have the necessary power requirement. You need to make sure that the batteries are fully charged and that the transmitter is plugged in. If these two things are like they need to be, then you can check the next thing.

• If you are having problems with the cordless microphones, you might want to check to see if there is any damage to the antenna or receiver. If it appears that one of the antennae are bent or clipped, this could be what is causing transmission problems for you. If you are using older cordless microphones, it might be best for you to try to angle the antenna a bit toward the user. This might bring a better reception.

• Consider the other electronic devices in the area. Anything like a cell phone or a microwave could interfere with the reception of cordless microphones. If somebody is going to be using a cordless microphone, it is probably best that they do not even have their cell phone turned on or with them.

Most often, the fixes that are needed on cordless microphones are quite simple. It is often just a matter of knowing what to look for.
